Thomas Weinmann CEO und Managing Partner

Thomas Weinmann has been active in private equity industry for more than 25 years, with an experience as a private equity fund manager, financier, and fund investor.

After completing his studies of Business Administration at the University of Passau in 1997, Thomas began his career in Leverage Finance at Dresdner Kleinwort. In 1999, he played an important role in the structuring of the first German large cap transaction. Between 2000 and 2012, he worked at the European private equity fund BC Partners as an investment professional / partner on the direct investment side. He was significantly involved in several investments, including public-to-privates and IPOs.

In 2012, Thomas founded the private equity fund of funds manager Astorius. Until his departurein 2022, he served as CEO and Co-Due Diligence Partner. In addition to his role at REIA, Thomas sits on various advisory boards.

In his spare time, he enjoys sports and loves long-distance travels with his wife and his two girls.
